Step II Lead-in

T: Do you often watch TV?

S: Yes.

T: Watching TV is really enjoyable after a day's hard work. Is that right?

S: Yes.

T: Now that you like watching TV, I think you all know him.

Show the following picture on the screen.

T: You are right. He presents in Lucky 52. There is a guessing word game. Now let's play a similar game. Turn to page 15.

Step III Speaking

Deal with exercise 7.

T: In exercise 7, we can find a word list. Please go through them quickly.

A short time later. Divide the class into groups. Each row is a group. Ask one of the students to come to the front and tell the teacher the word chosen. The teacher acts as the judge and timer. Then ask one of the groups to guess the word by asking him/her Yes/No questions to find out what the word is. The group which uses the least time is the winner of the game.

Each group has a chance to guess words. The teacher may give some rewards to the winner.
