would rather do sth. 否定形式是 would rather not do sth.

后跟宾语从句时，从句谓语用虚拟语气，引导从句的that常可省略。如：

so that引导目的状语从句，从句中常有can, may, could, might, will等情态动词，从句前不用逗号。

so that 引导结果状语从句一般不与情态动词连用，从句前可用逗号隔开。

He was so fat that he couldn't get through the door.
