Step2 :Reading strategy

Before we read the article, we are going to learn the reading strategies: skimming and scanning ask :

What is Skimming and scanning?

Skimming is to get a general idea of the article.

Focus on the title, heading, captions, the first and last sentences of paragraphs, charts and pictures ...

Scanning is to locate specific information about an article.

Look for key words and phrases, dates and words in bold, italics or capital letters...

Step3: Skimming:
