一、Teaching aims and demands：

　　1. Language goals：

　　1) To grasp the new words：grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist,

　　2)To learn the following sentence patterns：

　　①─What do you want to be when you grow up?

　　 ─I want to be a computer programmer.

　　②─How are you going to do that?

　　 ─I'm going to study computer science.

　　3) Ability goals：

　　 To master the strcutrue "be going to+do sth."；

　　 To learn to express the events that will happen in the future 。

　　2. Emotion goals：

　　 To develop the students' interest in English and build up great dream.

二、Teaching important and difficult points

　　1. Teaching key points：

　　1) To learn the structure "be going to do sth."。

　　2) To learn to use the taget language in different situations.

　　2. Teaching difficult points：

　　 To use the taget language to express what to do in the future.

三、Teaching procedure

　　Step1.Greeting and warming up.

　　Step2.Lead-in.

　　1. To set the scene for the students to lead into the new words about jobs and the phrase "grow up". For example:

　　T: Look at the screen. Who is he?

Ss: He is Yao Ming.
