一、ly 是副词的后缀

bad badly slow slowly happy happily nervous nervously

但有的词后面的ly不是副词的后缀，如：lovely lonely ugly likely friendly 是形容词

有的词加ly 不是变成了副词，而是改变了意思：

hard 艰难的，努力 hardly 几乎不

有的词没有ly的形式，如：straight, 本身既是形容词又是副词。

二、表示感知心理的系动词有feel, sound, look, smell, taste 等。这些词不能用于进行时态，也不能用做被动语态，后面接形容词做表语，如：

These oranges taste good. √

These oranges are taste good. ×

These oranges taste well. × well 是副词。

三、短语

1. prefer to do 愿意做某事

prefer doing to doing 愿意做某事胜过做某事

He prefer to spend his holiday in the island.

He prefer doing something to doing nothing at home.

2. The trek costs ￡2,500 including all flights and accommodation.

Including 和 all flights and accommodation 是主动关系，"包括机票和住宿"

用ing形式。

The trek costs ￡2,500 all flights and accommodation included.

All flights and accommodation 和included 是被动关系，"机票和住宿被包括在内"用过去分词表被动。
