Have one of them read out the instructions of Ex2
1 How do you think Armstrong must have felt at these times:
A before he went to the doctor ?
B when he recived the diagnosis?
C during the chemotherapy?
D when he was training for the Tour de France?
F when he won the Tour de France for thr first time ?
Then have them work in pairs or groups ,discussing how Armstrong felt an the different time s in his life .Go around and help with vocabulary if necessary .
Encourage the students to exchange the ideas as a class.Check the answers.

Then do Ex5.ask the students to do individually ,firsy ,then compare the answers in pairs before checking the answers.
