Step1: Warming up

1. Sing a song. (Monday Tuesday Wednesday school, Thursday Friday lots of rules. On Saturday and Sunday we can play. Let's start again and sing the days.)

1. Watch the video of Peppa Pig and try to answer the question "What are they going to do?"

2. Try to answer: They're going to have picnic.

Step3: Presentation

引出新单词并教授：picnic（采用自然拼读法）

3.T：The weekend is coming, I will have a picnic with you ok?

引出新单词并教授：will（采用自然拼读法辐射hill、bill、fill、pill）

【设计意图】通过自然拼读法，让学生在自然、顺畅的环境下感知语音，同时了解同一个读音中的其他单词。

4. Play a game

T: If we want to have a picnic. Maybe we will take something like Peppa Pig. Boys, this is your basket, and girls, this is your basket. Today we want to have a competition between boys and girls，who do the best will get the things, who get the most things in the basket will be the winner. Next we will play a game, it has 4 levels, and we can pass them to get the things.

【设计意图】用游戏闯关的环节使学生进入学习状态，创设学习英语的氛围，提高学习英语的兴趣。游戏竞赛的设置可以使孩子们的注意力集中。单词的教学与巩固如果全靠教师读、学生跟读这种形式是不行的，它是机械的、失去活力的。而运用游戏的方式巩固单词却能让学生想说、乐说。
