　　Step 1 Warming-up

　　1. Greetings.

　　2. Revision.

　　Show the pictures of the Great Wall and Beijing to review the sentences of last class.

　　Step 2 Leading-in

　　Show the picture of Chinatown and learn about it. Then listen to activity one and answer: What are they talking about? Yes, they are talking about Chinatown. So today let's learn Module2 Unit1 There's Chinese dancing.

　　Step 3 Presentation

　　1. Using the word cards and PPT to learn the new words

　　Dancing, Chinatown, sometimes, shop, then

　　2. Text learning.

　　(1) Listen to the tape and find the sentences with "There be":

　　There are lot of Chinese shops and restaurants there.

　　There's Chinese dancing.

　　(2) Listen to the tape and answer some questions:

　　Where is Daming doing?

　　What is Chinatown like?

　　(3)Listen again and repeat the text, then read with your desk mates.

　　Step 4 Practice

　　Show some pictures to practice "There be"

　　There is a.....

　　There are some/ lots of.....

　　Step 5 Consolidation

Listen and say the important sentences.
