Step2: Presentation

1. Introduce myself:

T: I'm Ms Wang. I'm an English teacher. I work in the Primary school attached to the Guangxi Teacher Education University. From Monday to Friday I work at school. I get up at seven o'clock. And I walk to school every morning, because my house is very near the school. My school starts at 7:45. So I go to school at half past seven. I go to school before school starts.

2. Talk about the students:

T: Now what about you ? I get up at seven o'clock. What time do you get up?

I walk to school every morning. And how do you go to school?

My school starts at 7:45. What time does your school start?

让学生猜词义，跟读，回答问题。

3. 带领学生观看学校的图片及学生生活的图片。

PPT出示学校的图片介绍：This is my school. This is our playground.(教学playground)。

Do you want to know something about Amy's school? Do they do exercises in the morning? Do they dance in the playground? Now, Let's watch a cartoon about Amy.

2. Watch the cartoon of text.

3. 让学生打开课本，独立阅读课文。指导他们完成课文内容填空。

4. 分段细读课文，一起解决课文填空。

老师放录音，让学生跟读第一段，然后根据填空内容向学生提问，听取回答，并出示正确答案。学生每答对一句，就让全班一起重复整个句子。同样方法解决课文的前三段。在这个过程中让学生联系上下文猜出以下生词的中文意思。near , before , skip.

5. 听录音，Say a chant.

模仿课文中Amy 和Lingling 跳绳时chant. 拿出跳绳，让学生一边跳绳一边say the chant。

6. 带领学生，根据填好的内容，将课文整体复述一遍。

Step4. Tasks

Task1:调查你的一个好朋友一天的生活时间安排。教师先做范例，并布置任务。

T: We learned Amy's school life, What about your friends? What time does he or she get up? What time do they go to bed? Now lets do an interview of our friends.

Task2:请你向老师和同学们介绍你的朋友一天的生活。指导学生使用第三人称介绍时注意动词后面加"s"或者"es"。
