Ⅰ. Warming-up and Lead in

Ss: Good morning, teacher.

T: Good morning, class

T: How are you today?

Ss: I'm fine, thank you, and you?

T: I am fine, too.

T: Ok, today we are going to learn "Unit 3 How do you get to school?".

Ⅱ. Presentation

1. T: At first, let's watch a short video and try to remember the words in it.

(play the video) Do you remember the words in the video?

　Ss: Yes.

　T: Ok, tell me together.

　Ss: Train, plane, car, boat, bike.

T: Yes, you are very good. They are some kinds of transportation. Can you remember other kinds of transportation?

Ss: ...

2. Teacher shows pictures and words about transportation on the big screen.

Read the words together.

3. Free talk: How do you get to school?

Students look at the pictures and learn the expression "take a/ the+...". Then students complete the conversations with the expressions. Read the conversations together.

4. Ask some students to answer the questions: How do you get to school?

　T: How do you get to school?

　Student A: ...

　Student B: ...

......

5. Pair work:

Students work in pairs to make their own conversations with the structures.
