Step 3 Cooperation & Presentation (合作探究与展示)
1、 展示各种学科课本,询问学生科目,了解学科单词。
2、 学生完成1a,将学科单词朗读两遍。
3、 教师提问,练习-What's your favorite subject?
-My favorite subject is ....(反复操练,多问多答)
4、 引入新问题:-Why do you like P.E?
-Because it's...(学习interesting,difficult的形容词)
5、 对话练习:询问搭档喜欢的学科,以及喜欢这个学科的原因。
6、 听录音,完成1b,在1a中圈出所听到的学科。
7、 听录音,完成2a和2b
8、 核对答案,让学生跟随听力资料朗读,跟搭档一起练习听力资料。
Step 4 Expansion and Promotion (拓展提升)
1.句型"What's + 物主代词/名词所有格 + favorite ...?"用来询问"某人最喜欢的是什么?"。例如:
What's his favorite sport? 他最喜欢的运动是什么?
What's Jane's favorite color? 简最喜欢的颜色是什么?
favorite是形容词,意为"最喜欢的,最喜爱的"。favorite是美式英语,favourite为英式写法,相当于like ... best。如:
Her favorite fruit is strawberries. = He likes strawberries best.
她最喜欢的水果是草莓。
Their favorite day is Sunday. = We like Sunday best. 他们最喜欢星期天了。
favorite 还可用作名词,意为"最喜欢的人或物"。如: Hamburger is Bob's favorite. 鲍勃最最喜欢汉堡。
White T-shirt and blue jeans are her favorites.
白色T恤和蓝色牛仔裤是她最喜欢的。
2. why是疑问副词,意为"为什么",用来询问原因或理由。用"Why + 一般疑问句?"构成特殊疑问句,其答语通常为:Because ...。 如: - Why do you like math? 你为什么喜欢数学?
- Because they are useful. 因为它们有用。
注意:汉语中的"因为......所以......"常常连用,但在英语中because和so不能 同时连用。如:
The book is very interesting, so we all like it.
= Because the book is very interesting, we all like it.
这本书很有趣,我们都很喜欢它。
3. because 用作连词,其后接从句,陈述原因或理由,用于回答why提出的问题,如:
- Why do you like P.E.? 你为什么喜欢体育?
- Because it's relaxing. 因为它很令人放松。

WHAT will the future be like? Three friends and I made a poster (海报) to show our thoughts in a class activity.
The main (主要的) color of the poster was black. We hoped it could make people think. We drew a green Earth at the bottom (底部) of the poster. We wanted to show that the Earth is so beautiful. If we don't protect (保护) it now, maybe we'll have to find another planet (星球) to live on in the future.
The future is not all about bad things. We wrote the words "politics" (政治) and "technology" (科技) on the poster. During our speech, we said in the future all the countries would work together. And our technology would develop (发展) very fast and change the world for the better.
We also talked about a new planet to live on. We named it "nearth". It came from the words "new" and "earth". We also thought maybe in the future humans and aliens (外星人) will live together and even have babies. We named these babies "hulien". It comes from "human" and "alien".
Do you like the future we talked about? What will the future be like in your eyes?

通过复习前面单元表颜色和运动的名词,谈论喜爱的颜色和运动,再延伸到本单元的学科爱好,这样以旧带新,增加知识的前后联系。
运用所学进行机械的对话练习,可以使学生反复运用本课时的生词和重点句型,对本单元的重点词汇和句型迅速熟练起来。
