活动二:根据已学单词及发音规律,自学教材66页, Module1单词。
1、教师拿出热狗的图片,T: What is this? Ss: Hot dog. T: Yes, this is a hot dog.从而引出新单词"hot dog",并要求学生在书桌上拼写通过one by one接龙式让学生快速站起来读。教师又拿出可乐的图片,T: What is this? Ss: Cola. T: Yes, this is a cola. 教师举起热狗和可乐的图片问:"How much is it?总共多少钱?"Ss:$13.25 T: Yes, It is thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents. Ok, Now enjoy your meal.又引出"soup、dollar、cent、cashier、enjoy、meal"用同样的方法教授,通过提问的方式抽查学生掌握的情况。(设计意图:为新课作铺垫)
2、学习dollar和cent的同时,引导学生操练价钱的表达。
3、教师带请学生朗读这几个单词,最后个别抽查,并以小贴画作为奖励。
活动三:
1、自读课文,圈出不理解的单词,并划出重点句型What do you want?和How much is it?
