Through the teaching of this period, make the students more aware of the dangers of drugs-taking,thus understand the phrase to say yes to life, to say no to drug.

Step1: Lead-in:
Word Game
Step2: Pre-listening:
Read about the questions in Activity 2 and 3, and then work in pairs to predict what the dialogue is about.
Step3: While-listening:
1) Focus on the questions in activity 2. Listen to the tape and try to understand the dialogue by answering the questions.
2) Work in pairs to share the answers. Try to explain your answers.
3) Call back answers from the students.
4) Listen again and complete the sentences to get more detailed information about the dialogue.
5) Listen to the whole dialogue and try to appreciate it.
Step4: Post-listening:
Share part of the tape script with the students, and explain some important points.
