3. Ask students to present their conversations.

1. Have students scan the conversation in 2d.

2. Lead students to practice reading the conversation.

3. Make students role-play the conversation. In this part, student A will be Jeff. Student B will be Nick. As they work, move round to monitor their work.

4. Ask a pair of students to present the conversation to the class.
