Step1: Warming up
1. Show a picture and ask students to answer: What's wrong
with the boy? (He has too much homework.)
2. Then ask: Does he like playing soccer? Help students to say:

3. Explain " things he likes to do"
Step 2: Presentation
1. Make students read the problems in 1a and ask if these
problems are serious? Help students say: It's serious that I have to study too much that I don't get enough sleep. It's not serious that my parents don't allow me to hang out with my friends. ...
2. Have students discuss tHe problems and give advice with "Why
don't you...", "Why not ...".
Step3: Listening
1. Tell students to listen and circle problems they hear in 1a.

2. Ask students to listen again and fill in the blanks. (Why don't

3. Summarize and write down 3 ways to give advice. (Why
