Step 1 Lead-in

 T :The last period we talked about health issues,as we know, some people think health is better than wealth , health is happiness. Now please look at the following pictures. Which are healthy activities while which are unhealthy activities?

Step 2 Pre-reading

   Discuss the following questions:

   1)Have you ever smoked ? lf you have, have you ever tried to stop?

2)Why do you think some adolescents start smoking?

1) Skimming

Ask students to glance through the text and try to find out the main idea of each paragraph.
