设计思想
根据《高中英语教学大纲》的要求,在课堂教学中,必须以学生为主体,为中心进行教学,教师在教学中起主导作用。因此我采用任务型教学方式,每一步都设有一定的任务,引导学生自主或者合作完成。
讨论最喜欢的运动然后在写关于自己最喜欢的运动,看似重复,实际是在强调所讨论的内容,是学生在整个教学过程中有更大的收获,更深的感受。整个教学活动以教材为载体,以学生为中心。学生参与活动贯穿始终。在整个教学过程中,既有师生互动,也有生生互动。
在课堂教学中,学生是主体,教师是主导,学生在教师的引导下完成每一步教学任务。学生积极参与教学任务中所设计的活动,展示了他们自己的能力与合作的能力,培养他们团结互助的习惯,提高他们写作的水平。

Step 2 Making a Survey on Other's favorite sports
Ask a student to answer some of the following questions ,and he/she will have a chance to interview 2-3 other students or teachers using some of the following questions:
1. What is your favorite sport?
2. Why do you like it?
3. What good does it do to you?
4. What do you need to do to improve it?
5. What have you learned from it?
Step 3 Speaking

First, ask the students to read the model in the book and pay attention to the linking word, then encourage the students to say some more linking words and some adjectives to describe sport.(interesting, funny, cool, smart, relaxing, relaxed, excited, exciting, adventurous, thrilled, delighted, delighting ...)
Second, give the students about 15minutes to write their own composition, and then check their work by asking some students to read out their compositions and correct some mistakes or share some good sentence patterns or expressions or linking words.
Step 5 Let's enjoy the sample:
Show the sample to the students and ask them to appreciate the sample and find out some good expressions or sentences or linking words.
My Favorite Sport
My favorite sport is basketball because it is an exciting game and I feel relaxed after playing it. Besides that, the real reason why I like basketball is that I like N.B.A stars and the best basketball player in the history of the game I like is Michael Jordan.
As everyone knows, playing basketball is not only good for our health but also makes people excited. In my spare time, I often play basketball with my friends in the playground near my home. We have a good time when we play basketball together.
Step 6 Homework
Homework:Check their compositions again and write one. Teacher-student interaction: Free talks about the Olympics
Student-student interaction: a student make interview about favorite sports.
Student-student interaction: Students work in pairs and interview each other about their favorite sports.
Teacher-student interaction: the teacher would guide the students to read and enjoy the model composition in the text book.
Students would have a few minutes to write their compositions, then the teacher would check their task.

给学生写作的时间视学生的英语基础以及课堂上具体所剩余的时间而调整。
如果时间允许,指导学生自主完成欣赏美文并小结心得。
