不定式修饰的名词或代词和不定式构成逻辑上的动宾关系，即当不定式的逻辑主语是不定式所表示动作的承受者时，不定式一般使用被动式。

构成 意义 一般式 to be done 表示在谓语动词之后或同时发生的被动动作 完成式 to have been done 表示发生在谓语动词之前的被动动作 III. 动词不定式的用法

它在句中可做主语、宾语、表语、定语、状语、补足语等。

1) To be envied by those women made Claire very proud.（主语）

2) The machine needs to be repaired before we use it.（宾语）

3) The meeting is to be held tomorrow.（表语）

4) The meeting to be held tomorrow is about education.（定语）

5) I went to the airport, only to be told that the plane had taken off already.（状语）

6) We expected the book to be published soon.（宾补）

IV. 动词不定式的主动表被动

1) The problem is difficult to solve.

2) This book is too expensive (for me) to buy.

3) He has nothing to eat.
