Minutes later.

T: OK, stop here. Who can tell us your answer?

S: I think in China you can bargain for almost anything you are interested in. Last Sunday I tried to bargain for a scarf. At first, it was a little hard. But I found a lot of fun in doing that.

T: Very good. Anybody else?

S: I find bargaining very hard. I never did it successfully on my own. So I always ask my mother to be with me. I often go to some big shopping centers. There, you don't need to bargain. To be exact, you can't bargain.

T: You are right. Bargaining is not an easy task. But before that, you have to know the value of the thing you are going to buy. The price is the indication of value. If something is very important to you, then we can say that it is of high value. And then you move on to the next step-bargaining. Recently, there is a hot program on CCTV-2 named GOUWUJIE. Here are the pictures.

Show the following picture on the screen.

T: In this program, the participants have to guess the right price of some commodities. If you get the right price, you will be rewarded. Next, let's guess the price of some goods.

T: Turn to page 10. What pictures can you see?

S: We can see four pictures. They are about old record, fax machine, necklace and scarfs.

T: Yes. Next, discuss the price of the objects, and also the reason why you give such a price. Is that clear?
