Step 1 Revision
Greet the class as usual.Ask students:What were you doing at this time yesterday? Help students answer: We were having an English class.
Step 2 Presentation
Tell the students: We were talking about the rainstorm. What were we doing when the rainstorm came? Ask the students to look at the picture and think about what has happened.

Get the students to read the passage quickly and answer the following questions
1) What was the weather like before the heavy rain started?
2)What was the neighborhood like after the storm?
