教学过程
一 热身(Warming up)
Greetings
T: Hello! Boys and girls, what is the weather like today?
Ss: It's sunny.
T: What was the weather like yesterday?
Ss: It's rainy.
二 导入( Lead-in)
1. 展示几幅幻灯图片,来自于本校下雨时的图片,学生立刻认出并说出天气情况,引出单词rainstorm,老师在黑板上画出其简笔画。紧接着发问:
T:Look at the pictures. There was a rainstorm in our school yesterday morning .
T: What were you doing when the rainstorm came yesterday?
S1:I was having an English class.
S2: I was playing.
S3: I was reading.
同时把这三个答句版属于黑板一侧。让学生找出一般现在时be 动词的形式以及一般过去时be动词的形式。
2、归纳现在进行时与过去进行时的含义与用法直接进入新课引入课题。
was reading --- is reading
was having --- is having
was playing --- is playing
过去进行时的否定形式:
wasn't= was not
weren't = were not
过去进行时的一般疑问式:
was/ were + 人称 + V.ing + ?
三 操练(Presentation and Practice)
1. Brainstorm图片展示,对话操练。
T:what is he doing now?
Ss: he is playing football.
T: what was he doing at three o'clock yesterday afternoon?
Ss: he was playing football.
共三组图片,六组对话。
2. Pairwork. 图片展示,对话操练。相信你能行!

3. Can you chant?
老师示范节奏,学生掌握好节奏,引导一遍,第二遍师生一起,节奏要越来越快,让学生都开口说,快乐的说,使课堂气氛活跃。

4. Practice 区分when ,while 的用法。
展示图片,造句子,让学生发现when, while 的用法,老师边引导做句子,边提示主句和从句的关系以及主句和从句的动词时态。
5. 小试牛刀,当堂检测when ,while 的用法。
用when和while填在下列每个句子的合适空格处。
小组抢答,奖励优胜组。

播放录音让学生仔细听并圈出正确的短语。

通过问候近两天的天气变化,快速的引入到主题上来
通过幻灯片演示复习现在进行时导入过去进行时。通过
对已学知识的巩固及真实的情景使学生容易学会如何表达并容易接受所要学的新知识。
通过引导学生观察图片进行启发式的提问,使学生很快进入新课的学习状态,为1a练习做准备。
通过提问的方式使学生能够很好的把所听到的听力信息用目标语言表达出来,培养学生运用语言知识的能力,为后面的说做准备。
形象生动有趣的图片,引起学生兴趣,更有利于新句型的接受。
通过情境的创设让学生学会在when引导的时间状语从句中恰当使用过去进行时进行询问及描述。
通过这一活动训练学生学会使用目标语言谈论他人正在进行的不同的事情,使学生体会过去进行时及when 在真实语境中的运用。
