 遵循新课标二级目标和学生的认知特点,我把教学过程分为以下几个环节:

Step 1: Warming up:

1. Greetings.(拉近与学生的关系)

2. Teacher sings a song: Eight little baby ducks

   (消除师生间陌生感,调动学生学习的积极性和兴趣。)

Step 2: Leading in: Ask and answer and then describe.

1. Show the pictures of the animals

  What's this? It's a ... It's very ... (thin/ fat/ long/ short...)

  What are they? They are ...They are ... (thin/ fat/ long/ short...)

(看图说动物,带学生回忆学过的动物。通过观察图片引起学生的兴趣,吸引他们的注意力。)

 2. Listen and do!

   I'm a panda, fat, fat, fat.

   I'm a snake, long, long, long.

I'm an elephant, big, big, big.

I'm a cat, small, small, small.

   I'm a bear, strong, strong, strong.

   I'm a monkey, thin, thin, thin.

(通过自编的chant, 提高学习兴趣,培养学生听,说,做的能力。)

Step 3、Presentation:

 1. Play a guessing game.

  1) T: They are very fat. They are black and white. What are they?

     (Pandas)

  2) T: They are very long. They are green. What are they?

(Snakes)

3) T: They are very big. They are very strong. They have long noses. What are they? (Elephants)
