S: TV programme is a most popular way people can get to know the outer world. You can find everything you are interested in there, like chat show, quiz show, soap opera and the news.

S: Nowadays, the Internet is very in. People surf the Internet to learn about the latest news, to chat with other people, or just to play games.

S: Magazines are very close to us as well. There are all kinds of magazines, involving various of aspects people are willing to know, like cars, computers, current affairs, fashion, films, music, sport, and travel.

S: I think the oldest form of media is the newspaper and it is still spreading widely. It can be divided into the local newspaper and the national newspaper. In the local newspaper, you can find information about when a TV programme is on show, what happened around us. If you picked 500,000 dollars, it would be probably reported in this kind of newspaper. But the national newspaper, like China Daily, report only serious news, for example, the government's latest policy, International current affairs and so on.
