Step 1: Warm-up and lead-in

(1) Sing a song "What's this"

(2) 介绍物品如：pencil、pencil、this is my pencil.

(3) 同桌两人互相练习.

Step 2: Presentation

直接呈现新话题，T: Today we'll learn Module 9 Unit 1 This is my mother.

A: （1）T：Look at picture 1。问三个问题 Who are they？

Where are they？

What are they doing？

听第一次录音，并找出How many people are there in Sam's family？

T：那你能说出Sam对他的家人的称呼吗？（让学生能说多少说多少）

（2） 出示Ms Smart的头像：This is Sam's .... 引出单词mother

再出示Ms Smart上课的头片引出She's a teacher.并指着一名女孩儿说she、she、she，让学生明白女生可以用she来指代。

（3） 出示Mr Smart的头像：This is Sam's .... 引出单词father

再出示Mr Smart当医生的头片引出He's a doctor.并指着一名男孩儿说he、he、he，让学生明白男生可以用he来指代。

（4） 出示Tom的头像：引出bother
