teaching is much higher. Besides, traveling abroad can broaden their mind and offer them greater

opportunities to develop their independence.

Despite these obvious advantages, we should not overlook negative effects. One problem is the

difficulty they have to adjust to a new culture. They may experience loneliness and homesickness, which

will of course do harm to them. Another is the financial problem. It is not easy for ordinary students to

cover high college cost.

While overseas study has its drawbacks, the advantages are obvious. Personally, I think it a good idea

to study overseas. Something different can be learnt.
