Step I Lead-in
The teacher let students talk about places we are familiar with.
T: Let's make a discussion about places we often see in our life, OK?

T: Who can tell me which places we often use in life? If you don't know English ,say it in Chinese please.

Step II Presentation
T: Now, look at some pictures in my hand and let's guess what places are they, Ok?
Ss: Ok!
T: Look at the first picture, Which place ?
Ss:邮局.
T: Now read after me in English, I read one time and you read three times, post office.
Ss: Post office, post office, post office!
T: How do you spell post office?
Ss: P-O-S-T ,O-F-F-I-C-E, post office.
T: Very good, let's write it on the blackboard together, p-o-s-t, o-f-f-i-c-e, post office. Read after me, post office.(I read one time, and you read two times)
T: Now, look at the second picture, Which place?
Ss: 警察局.
