Ask the students to say the names of some animals.

Write them up on the board but miss out some letters.

Example: T: Say the name of an animal!

Ss: Lions!

T: (writes on board:'l__n')What are the missing letters,class?

Ss: 'i' and 'o'

2.Look, listen and find.

Ask the student to close their books.

Tell them to listen to the recording and write down the name of the animals they can hear in the recording.

After that, ask the students to open their books and read the story.

Ask students to act out the story.
