3.有些含有"建议""劝告"等意思的祈使句，要用advise，suggest，insist，offer等动词转述。

　　He said，"Let's have a rest."

　　→He suggested our/us having a rest.

　　He said，"Let me help you."

　　→He offered to help me.

　　二、直接引语为其他形式时变间接引语

　　1.当直接引语形式上是疑问句，表示"请求，建议"意义时，可用ask sb. to do sth. 或suggest doing/advise sb. to do sth. 等形式转述。

　　"Would you mind opening the door？" he asked.

　　→He asked me to open the door.

　　2.直接引语是感叹句时，变间接引语可用what或how引导，也可用that引导。

　　She said，"What a lovely day it is！"

　　→She said what a lovely day it was./She said that it was a lovely day.

Ⅰ.将下列直接引语改为间接引语

1."Don't swim out too far，" the teacher said to the boys.

→The teacher told the boys not to swim out too far.

2."Do，please，send me to a warm climate，" she said to me.

→She asked me to send her to a warm climate.

3."Make sure the door is shut when you go out，" father said to me.

→Father told me to make sure that the door was shut when I went out.

4.Sally asked me，"Will you please pass me the dictionary？"

→Sally asked me to pass her the dictionary.

5."What a lovely girl she is！" he said.

→He said what a lovely girl she was./He said that she was a lovely girl.

Ⅱ.将下列间接引语改为直接引语

6.She told us not to touch anything unless told to when we were in the lab.

→"Don't touch anything unless told to when you are in the lab，" she said to us.

7.He asked me never to phone him after midnight.

→"Never phone me after midnight，" he said to me.

8.He asked us to tidy the lab as soon as we could.

→"Please tidy the lab as soon as you can，" he said to us.
