Ask students to do the following quiz. Then help students to think more about noun-verb conversion.

Step III Suffixes
Ask students to do Activity 1-3 in Grammar (2) on Page 10. Then help students to sum up the following.
Suffixes change the meaning of a word and sometimes the type of word.
-ful particular quality / adjectives
-less without / adjectives
-ic of, like, or related to a particular thing / adjectives
After summarizing the grammar rules, go on with the activities on Page 10.
Step III Practice
Deal with grammar Activity 5 on Page 10. Students may discuss in groups. Several minutes later, some students will be asked to present in front of the class.
They are supposed to use artistic, athletic, dramatic, energetic, and fantastic to make sentences.
A sample writing:
I am a very energetic girl. I have many interests and hobbies. One of my hobbies is arranging flowers in my spare time. I think it is fantastic when you arrange
