Show the picture of Yang Liwei to the Ss, say, please guess, what's his favorite subject?
Ss: His favorite subject is science.(学生们几乎是异口同声的作了回答,可能是Yang Liwei 头戴宇航帽 身穿宇航服的照片给了他们启示)
T: Why does he like science?
B: Because it's interesting.
把"T: Why does he like science?
B: Because it's interesting."
呈现出来,然后教师带读,学生跟读,让学生很自然的接受了why后的第三人称,为后来的操练做准备。
Show the pictures of Zhao Wei and Liu Qian to the Ss, first, ask them to read the two sentences:
My favorite subject is PE, because it's relaxing.
My favorite subject is music, because it's interesting.
Then ask:
T: What's her/his favorite subject?
S: Her favorite subject is music.
T: Why does she like it?
S: Because it's interesting.
这样就很自然的的进入了第三人称的教学。(况且刘谦、小燕子都是学生喜欢的公众人物,运用他们的照片,能极大的调动学生的兴趣。)
Then show the pictures of Liu Xian, Cheng Huiling, Li Yong 的照片给学生,给出关键词favorite, her和his,让学生发挥自己的想象,自由操练句型。

B. Her/his favorite subject is ...
(让学生在操练前,教师先与一学生示范。)
课后发现,这个环节的设计相当好,因为学生们的提问五花八门,有的问颜色,有的问食物......这是超出我的原有设想的,在我为学生们精彩的呈现叫好时,我也深刻体会到课堂生成在整个教学中的重要,我们没必要把学生当做机器,而自己是使用者,让学生完全按照预定的轨道行走,放出他们的个性,他们的天性,课堂效果更好。
Step6:Ask and answer
T: Hello, Li ling, what's your favorite subject?
Ss: My favorite subject is English?
T: Why do you like English?
Ss: Because it's fun.
然后问全班其他同学,
T: What's her/his favorite subject?
S: Her favorite subject is English.
T: Why does she like it?
